关于天御株式会社遭受勒索软件网络攻击一事,继第一报(10月31日)与第二报(11月7日)之后,现将最新情况告知如下。目前业务已基本恢复至正常运营状态。

Notice of System Disruption due to Ransomware Attack (3rd Report)

We would like to provide updated information on the ransomware cyber-attack that we, TEIN, have suffered, following the first report dated October 31 and the second report dated November 7. As far as the business operation is concerned, we are now able to undertake routine practice and activities with little or no difficulty.
- Data/Information Leakage
No such leakage has been confirmed so far, but we are still conducting continuous investigation.
We sincerely apologize to all our customers and partners for any inconvenience and trouble caused by this case. We will further investigate and review the issues and take necessary measures to establish and provide safe network environment.

因勒索软件感染导致系统故障的通知(第2报)
本公司已于10月31日公告:总部服务器遭遇勒索软件感染并引发系统故障。
自同日展开调查以来,我们已确认遭受了源于勒索软件的网络攻击。
目前我们正持续查明受害全貌,并同步推进公司内部系统的尽快恢复及日常业务的重启。
现阶段可披露的信息如下:
- -生产活动
受上述系统故障影响,中国子公司工厂(天御减振器制造(江苏)有限公司)自11月3日起停 产1周,总部工厂停产1天。我们计划通过今后的休息日等进行调班补作,预计对整体生产活动 影响有限。
关于物资采购,我们已与各供应商进行个别协调,基本可按常态推进。
※关于具体影响,我们正陆续与各合作伙伴逐一联系说明。
- -营销/销售活动
订单系统运行在独立服务器上,未受本次系统故障影响。但由于公司内部其他系统一度停摆,曾 出现少量业务延迟。当前订单受理已按常态处理,发货与交付亦照常进行。
- -资金结算
本次系统故障未对资金结算造成影响,相关业务运行正常。
- -对外联络
我们通过电话与电子邮件正常提供服务。邮件仅从已确认安全的计算机发送。
由于实施了部分限制措施,回复可能较平时有所延迟。
目前尚未确认是否发生个人信息或客户数据等泄露,及对内对外的其他影响。一旦确认详情,我 们将及时通知相关各方。
因本次事件给客户、合作伙伴及各相关人士造成的不便,我们深表歉意。
Notice of System Disruption due to Ransomware Attack (2nd Report)
November 7, 2025

We, TEIN, INC., made announcement on October 31 that our main server was experiencing disruption due to ransomware infection.
Following the detection of the incident, we have been conducting thorough investigations and through which it is confirmed that our server was under cyber-attack by ransomware.
We are still carrying out further investigations to uncover the entire picture of the incident and the damages sustained. While at the same time, we are focusing on early restoration and resumption of the entire system and normal business operation.
The information we can disclose as of this point in time is as follows.
- Production/Manufacturing Activities
The system disruption forced our subsidiary factory in China (TEIN Shock Absorber Manufacturing (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd.) to close for 1 week from November 3 and HQ factory in Japan to halt production for 1 day. We are planning to compensate such by operating on weekends and we expect the impact to be minimal.
We have made individual arrangements with our suppliers to ensure procurement of materials with little or no effect.
*Details and extent of impact will be furnished to those affected, as such information becomes available.
- Sales Activities
Our order/shipping system runs entirely on the separate server and it was not hit by this incident at all. However, we have experienced a slight delay in operations, since the internal system was shut down. We are now able to process orders and arrange deliveries as usual.
- Payment and Settlement
The incident did not have any impact on processing funds and we are operating normally.
- External Communications
We are currently using telephone lines and e-mails as means of communication as usual. We assure that e-mails can only be sent from and received on the devices that are safe and free from ransomware infection. Due to partial limitations/restrictions currently in place, some delay in responding may be expected.
We are yet to confirm the possibility of personal and customer data exposure and the extent of damages caused by such data leakage, internally or externally. We will inform all concerned parties, as soon as the details are confirmed.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by this recent incident.

本公司特此通知:总部服务器遭受勒索软件感染,已引发系统故障。鉴于集团各公司亦使用总部服务器,本集团的业务因此受到影响。
目前,我们已开始与警方等相关主管机关进行联系与咨询,并在外部专家的支持下,就影响范围开展调查(包括是否发生个人信息与客户数据外泄),同时推进系统恢复工作。
此次事件给各位客户及合作伙伴等相关各方造成的担忧与不便,我们深表歉意。

We are currently experiencing system disruption due to ransomware attack on the company's main server.
Since all group companies rely on the same system, this disruption is seriously affecting the daily business operations group wide.
We are closely working with law enforcement and relevant authorities, with support from outside experts, to investigate the extent of the impact, including the possibility of leakage of personal and customer data, and to restore the system.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and difficulties this attack may cause to our customers and partners.
